COURSE OVERVIEW: 

This is a time- and cost-effective way to start growing a substantial skills portfolio and boost your 'value proposition' for possible future employment; as the course compresses the most important industry related study fields across all four our academic faculties into one concise and comprehensive package.

This program is geared towards career-driven students wanting to enter the conservation and safari lodge industry, or for those intending to grow and further develop their current professional skills profiles...

The unique course structure and composition of this career program will not only send you on your way to realizing your potential and career dreams; but will drastically increase your chances of securing a future in Nature Guiding, Wildlife Conservation and/or Hospitality Management. With more than 20 course certification components hosted by four academic faculties (Safari Guiding Hospitality, Conservation & Business), you will be able to proof your worth and display high levels of personal and professional competency across all industry sectors.

From conducting game drives and bush walks, hosting guests at some of Southern Africa's top safari lodges, sweating and bleeding for wildlife conservation, to learning about business development principles and how to effectively lead and manage employees, you will be trained and mentored by some of the best and most reputable instructors and area specialist in Southern Africa!!!

 COURSE LAYOUT:

 COURSE STRUCTURE: 

12 Months Training + 12 Months Practical

(ACADEMIC CREDIT POINTS: 3 750 Credits)

PHASE 1: BASIC TRAINING & ORIENTATION

The first phase of the course will allow learners the opportunity to get a holistic overview of the different career fields and options available in the industry providing a basic theoretical and practical introduction to the skill- and competency- requirements of each sector. Upon successful completion, learners will receive a certificate and internal credits for each course component that they successfully completed.
